Mr. Anderson was appointed to his current position in 2018, after serving as Asset Director, District Operations Manager, Manager U.S. Completions and staff engineer for PDC. In his current position, he is responsible for drilling, completion, production, infrastructure and integration of all functions of the Delaware Basin assets. Mr. Anderson joined the company in 2004. Prior to that, he worked in various positions for BJ Services Company, most recently as District Engineer. Mr. Anderson holds a BS in Geology from North Dakota State University in Fargo.
Ms. Blaser was appointed as the Company’s Associate General Counsel in March 2019. Ms. Blaser most recently served as Assistant General Counsel of Resolute Energy Corporation, which was acquired by Cimarex Energy Co. in early March 2019. Prior to joining Resolute, Ms. Blaser worked as an associate for the Corporate Finance and Acquisitions group at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP in Denver, Colorado where she gained a wide range of experience representing public and private companies in securities offerings, securities law disclosure and compliance, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions and executive compensation matters. Ms. Blaser received her Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law where she graduated magna cum laude for being in the top 10% of her class. Prior to law school, Ms. Blaser worked as a Certified Public Accountant in the audit group of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP Denver office where she gained a strong background in financial accounting and securities regulation matters. She received her BA in Accounting from the University of Colorado Boulder, where she graduated With Distinction.
Mr. Canonico joined PDC Energy in August 2017 as VP Environment, Health and Safety. He has over 20 years of experience in EHS, sustainability and related fields in multiple industries, including energy, technology, and pulp & paper, in the U.S. and internationally. He specializes in developing compliance management systems, negotiating agreements and collaborating on public policy. Prior to joining PDC , Mr. Canonico was head of EHS at Berry Petroleum until it s purchase by LINN Energy, where he continued as Regional EHS Manger for western assets. His career experience also includes leadership positions at International Paper and Hewlett-Packard.
A U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Canonico holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Military Academy, West Point, as well as an M.S. in Environmental Science and Engineering from Colorado School of Mines, and an M.A. in Management from Webster University. He is a registered Professional Engineer.
Mr. Courcier began his career with PDC Energy in December 2010. He brings to his position over thirty years of experience in exploration, production and midstream operations, engineering, and business development. Mr. Courcier is responsible for PDC’s marketing and midstream activity including the Company’s wholly owned marketing subsidiary, Riley Natural Gas, he negotiates and manages all related gas purchase, gathering, and processing contracts, as well as oil sales agreements. He is also responsible for the development of midstream infrastructure projects for PDC Energy. Most recently, Mr. Courcier served as Senior VP – Business Development for Legion Energy Services in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Prior to Legion, he served in various management positions with midstream and E&P companies, including Regency Gas Services, Samson Resources, Duke Energy Field Services and Amoco Production Company. Mr. Courcier holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Mr. Edwards joined PDC in March 2013. He has over 25 years of industry experience including more than 18 years with Venoco in a variety of positions beginning as Manager of Lands and ending as VP Corporate and Investor Relations. After an IPO in 2006, Venoco went private in late 2012. Mr. Edwards was responsible for all aspects of investor relations and public relations, as well as for supervising government and community relations for the company’s operations onshore and offshore California. He was responsible for land and environmental due diligence for many of the company’s acquisitions. Mr. Edwards started in the industry as an independent landman based out of Denver. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Colorado State University and a Juris Doctorate Degree from Santa Barbara College of Law.
Mr. Gaulke began his career with PDC in August 2009. He previously served for ten years as VP Systems – Chief Information Officer for Nordstrom Bank, a wholly owned banking subsidiary of its national department store chain. Mr. Gaulke brings over twenty years of experience in planning, developing and executing all facets of strategic technology initiatives. During Mr. Gaulke’s tenure with Nordstrom Bank he was responsible for information infrastructure and security, physical infrastructure, and application portfolio management. Prior to Nordstrom Bank, Mr. Gaulke worked for twelve years with General Electric Capital Corporation in various roles of increasing responsibility. Mr. Gaulke holds an MBA in Finance from Kennesaw University in Georgia, and a BS in Mathematics from Iona College in New York.
Ms. George joined PDC Energy in October 2011 as Director of Accounts Payable and Joint Interest Billing. She brings over 23 years of experience in her field, including budgeting and forecasting, project economic analysis, acquisitions and due diligence, implementation and maintenance of oil and gas industry accounting software, and financial reporting. Prior to joining PDC, Ms. George was a Senior Financial Analyst with Consol Energy, Inc. in Jane Lew, WV, as well as with Dominion Exploration and Production, Inc. based in Richmond, VA. Ms. George graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science dual-degree in Accounting and Office Administration from Fairmont State College in Fairmont, West Virginia.
Mr. Gopalakrishnan was appointed to his current position in 2018 and began his career with PDC Energy in September 2012 as Director – Information Technologies. Mr. Gopalakrishnan brings a broad and deep technology background with 16 years of technical and management experience, and a proven record in strategic thinking and superior tactical execution. He also brings extensive experience building oil and gas related infrastructure technology.
Preceding PDC, Mr. Gopalakrishnan held the position of Manager of Information Technology for six years with Aspect Holdings, LLC, a private oil and gas company based in Denver, Colorado, where he was responsible for aligning Information Technology with the business goals of the organization. Prior to this Mr. Gopalakrishnan held various management positions of increasing responsibility with Quark Inc. located in Denver, Colorado, most recently serving as Director of Professional Services leading a team of eight project managers and system integration engineers. Mr. Gopalakrishnan received a Bachelor of Electronic Science from the University of Madras, India.
Mr. Griggs was appointed as the Company’s Chief Accounting Officer in June 2018. Mr. Griggs most recently served as Chief Accounting Officer of Nine Point Energy, a private independent exploration and production company focused on development in the Williston Basin since March 2017. From November 2014 through March 2017, he served as Chief Accounting Officer of Triangle Petroleum Corporation, a publicly-traded independent energy holding company focused on oil and gas exploration and development, oilfield services, and midstream services, primarily in the Williston Basin. From January 2006 to October 2014, Mr. Griggs served as the Chief Accounting Officer of Venoco, Inc., an independent energy company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of oil and natural gas in offshore and onshore California and coastal Texas. Mr. Griggs began his career with Ernst & Young LLP, where he held various titles of increasing responsibility over a 13 year period, last serving in the role of Audit Senior Manager. Mr. Griggs received a B.S. in Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Northern Iowa and he holds an active certified public accountant license in the State of Colorado.
Mr. Jedamski joined PDC in June 2008. He has over 15 years of industry experience with various E&P companies with Appalachian Basin, Mid-Continent, and Western Region assets. He has also been employed at Toothman Rice PLLC, a regional accounting firm, where he specialized in Oil & Gas Industry client services. Most recently, he was employed by Linn Energy, LLC where he served as Director of Operations Accounting. Mr. Jedamski is a graduate of Glenville State College in Glenville, WV with a BS in Accounting. He also holds an MBA from the University of Charleston in Charleston, WV.
Mr. Kimble joined PDC in September 2018 where he is responsible for managing and coordinating the Financial Planning and Analysis, Investor Relations, and Treasury teams. He has over twenty years of experience in oil and gas most recently as Vice President and Treasurer of Apache Corporation. Prior to that he was Sr. Vice President and CFO at Talos Energy and Vice President and Treasurer at Plains Exploration (Freeport-McMoRan). Mr. Kimble also worked in corporate finance and business development roles for The Williams Companies, Bank of Montreal and Comerica Bank. He holds a MBA from The University of Tulsa and a BA in Finance from Texas Tech University and completed the Advanced Management Program for Oil and Gas Industry Executives at Thunderbird School of Global Management.
Mr. Laramie was appointed to his current position in 2019 where he is responsible for the overall strategic plan of lease records, division orders and GIS. He brings to his role over 15 years of land, land administration and leadership experience. Mr. Laramie first joined PDC as the Manager of Land Administration in 2017. Prior to joining PDC, he held a variety of land positions of increasing responsibility with Noble Energy beginning in 2010, with his most recent position as Land Manager. Mr. Laramie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Colorado and received an Energy Land Management certificate from the Daniels College of Business from the University of Denver. He is a member of the both the American and Denver Association of Professional Landmen.
Mr. Lillo joined PDC Energy in September 2015 as Vice President, Operation. In March of 2019 he was promoted to Senior Vice President of Operations. Mr. Lillo has over 31 years of experience in exploration, production, and operations engineering management. Prior to joining PDC, Mr. Lillo was with Bonanza Creek Energy (“Bonanza”) from 2013-2015 serving as Senior Vice President of Production & Operations, after being promoted from VP, Rocky Mountain Asset Management over the Rocky Mountain and Mid-Continent assets. From 2005-2013, Mr. Lillo held numerous positions with Noble Energy, Inc. including Development and Operations Manager, Manager of Major Projects and Infrastructure, and District Manager for the DJ Basin. Prior to that, he was with Patina Oil and Gas Corporation from 1998-2005, serving in positions of increasing responsibility, including Operations Manager and District Production Manager overseeing Wattenberg operations. Prior to 1998, Mr. Lillo held several operation and technical positions for various companies with operations in Kansas, North Dakota, and California. Mr. Lillo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
Mr. Mazza joined PDC Energy in June 2012 as Director Financial Reporting and is responsible for internal and external financial reporting, including filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Prior to joining PDC Energy, Mr. Mazza served in various financial reporting roles in the energy and mining sectors, most recently serving as Director of Financial Reporting for Trinity Coal Corporation. Prior to this, Mr. Mazza served as Director of Financial Reporting and Investor Relations for International Coal Group, Inc., Manager of Financial Reporting for Linn Energy, LLC and as an Assurance Manager with Grant Thornton, LLP public accountants. Mr. Mazza graduated Cum Laude from West Virginia University with a dual Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, Accounting and Marketing, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Mr. Mendoza joined PDC Energy in November 2019 as Vice President of Land. He has over 30 years of experience in business, land management, business development and exploration land functions. Prior to joining PDC, he was Vice President of Land at Forge Energy II, LLC, in San Antonio. Prior that, Mr. Mendoza spent most of his career with BP America Production Company and its heritage companies, Vastar Resources, Inc. and Atlantic Richfield Company, serving in roles of increasing responsibility. He has worked the majority of the large onshore basins in the Lower 48, including the Permian; South and East Texas; Utica; Wyoming and Mid-Continent. Mr. Mendoza received a BBA degree in Finance from the University of Texas, Austin. He also has an MBA from St. Mary’s University, a Master of Management degree in International Business from the University of Dallas and a Master of Arts degree in Public Administration from the University of Houston where he concentrated in International Relations. He is a member of the American Association of Professional Landmen and the West Houston Association of Petroleum Landmen.
Ms. Rakosky was appointed to her current position in July 2018 and is responsible for all core Human Resources functions including administration, recruiting, compensation and benefits, as well as learning and development. She joined PDC in November 2006 and has held various positions in Human Resources for the Company. Prior to joining PDC, she worked in various facets of government contracting and the retail industry for over 25 years. Ms. Rakosky obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business Management from Fairmont State College in West Virginia.
Mr. Roach was promoted to Director in August 2018 where he is responsible for managing and coordinating PDC’s reservoir engineering, including reserves reporting and evaluation of technological advancements. He joined PDC in 2008 and most recently served as Planning and Development Manager for the Company’s Wattenberg assets. Prior to that role he held the titles of Lead Engineer and Senior Petroleum Engineer. Mr. Roach has over 18 years of oil and gas experience including working for Noble Energy, Gunnison Energy Corporation and Halliburton. Mr. Roach holds a Masters of Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and a Bachelors of Geology from the University of Colorado.
Mr. Shierlaw joined PDC in August 2018 where he is responsible for managing and coordinating the technical, governance and compliance aspects of PDC’s cybersecurity program aligned with business goals and risk management. Prior to joining PDC, he managed information security for MarkWest Energy Partners (now MPLX), was a senior manager in consulting and security services for InteliSecure, and worked for Antero Resources as IT manager. Mr. Shierlaw has twelve years of experience in the data and information systems industry. He is currently enrolled in a Master’s program for Information Systems Security at Denver University. Mr. Shierlaw holds a Bachelors in Computer Networking from Davenport University.
Mr. Stump was appointed to his current position in April 2009 after serving as Chief Accounting Officer since November 2006. Previously, Mr. Stump served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer since November 2003. Mr. Stump has been an officer of the Company since April 1995 and held the position of Corporate Controller since 1980 when he joined the Company. Prior to joining PDC, Mr. Stump was a senior accountant with Main Hurdman, Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Stump is a graduate of West Virginia University with a BSBA in Accounting and a Certified Public Accountant.
Ms. Trask was appointed to her current position in 2019 where she is responsible for management of PDC’s efforts to develop and grow existing Wattenberg and Delaware assets. Ms. Trask first joined PDC as a Senior Landman in September 2013 and has held various positions of increasing responsibility, including Landman Team Lead, Wattenberg, and Land Manager, Wattenberg followed by Land Manager, Wattenberg and Land Administration. Ms. Trask has almost two decades of land management experience in supporting operational execution, business development and land administration. Prior to joining PDC, she was a Senior Landman with Cirque Resources, and Exco Resources. Prior to that, Ms. Trask worked for Vantage Energy and Bill Barrett Corporation in various land capacities. Ms. Trask holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Management as well as a minor in Economics from the University of Montana. She is a Certified Professional Landman and Member of AAPL and DAPL.
Mr. Vieau started with PDC in November of 2017 where he is responsible for managing and coordinating business development activities including acquisitions, divestitures, and potential acreage trades for the company. Prior to joining PDC Mr. Vieau held various business development roles at Occidental Petroleum and Cimarex Energy. Most recently Mr. Vieau was Director of Business Development for Caerus Oil and Gas LLC. At Caerus, Mr. Vieau was instrumental in managing several acquisitions and divestitures, most notably Caerus’ $735MM acquisition of Encana’s Piceance Basin assets in 2017. Mr. Vieau holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Northern Colorado.
Mr. Wallace joined PDC Energy in 2016 and was appointed to his current position in 2018. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Wallace served as Oil and Gas Controller at Forestar Group Inc. from 2014 to 2016. From 2010 to 2014, he served as Treasurer and Manager of Budgeting and Forecasting of Intrepid Potash, Inc. From 2003 to 2010, Mr. Wallace held various positions with SM Energy Company including at separate times Assistant Treasurer and Assistant Controller. Mr. Wallace was a senior auditor with Arthur Andersen LLP and KPMG LLP from 1999 to 2003 where he served clients primarily in the manufacturing, governmental, non-profit and technology sectors. Mr. Wallace is an active CPA in the state of Colorado. Mr. Wallace holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Northern Colorado.
Mr. Welling joined PDC Energy in 2011 and was appointed to his current position in 2018 after serving as Director of E&P Accounting and Budgeting since 2015. He has also held the roles of Director E&P Accounting, Manager Budgeting and Analysis and Manager Technical Accounting & Special Projects. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Welling was employed by PwC LLP in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from September 2003 to November 2011, the last two and one-half years serving as Manager. Prior thereto, from June 2001 to September 2003, Mr. Welling was employed by Bodkin, Wilson & Kozicki, PLLC, an accounting firm based in Wheeling, West Virginia. Mr. Welling is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and holds a BS in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting from West Liberty University, West Virginia.
Mr. Whisenand was appointed to his current position in 2017 where he is responsible for management of all land-related matters. Mr. Whisenand first joined PDC as a staff Landman in March 2007 and has held various positions of increasing responsibility, including Senior Landman, Team Lead and Land Manager. Mr. Whisenand has broad land management experience in supporting operational execution, business development and land administration. Prior to joining PDC, Mr. Whisenand worked for land broker LoneTree Energy accomplishing client goals in a variety of basins. Mr. Whisenand holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Information Systems from the University of North Dakota and is a Certified Professional Landman.
Mr. Williams, a Certified Public Accountant, joined PDC in November 2012 as Director of Revenue Accounting. He brings over twenty years of accounting and auditing experience to his role, most recently serving as a Senior Financial Analyst for Consol Energy in Jane Lew, West Virginia. Prior to this he worked as a Controller for Colonial Millworks, and as an Internal Auditor/Chief Accountant with McDonough Corporation. Mr. Williams is a Summa Cum Laude graduate from Fairmont State College in West Virginia with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.
Ms. Wilson joined PDC Energy in February 2016 as Director Finance and Assistant Treasurer responsible for establishing and implementing short and long-range financial goals and objectives. Ms. Wilson plays an active role in PDC’s capital markets, banking, cash management, commodity hedging, insurance and credit programs. Prior to joining PDC, Ms. Wilson was Corporate Finance Manager at DCP Midstream in Denver, and held other positions of increasing responsibility in her ten years with DCP. Ms. Wilson holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Oklahoma, Price College of Business and an MS in Finance from the University of Colorado at Denver.
