Mr. Brookman, the Company’s President and Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”), was appointed to the Board on January 1, 2015, simultaneous with his appointment as the Company’s CEO. Mr. Brookman originally joined the Company in July 2005 as Senior Vice President-Exploration and Production; he was appointed to the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in June 2013 and then served as President and Chief Operating Officer from June 2014 through December 2014. Prior to joining PDC, Mr. Brookman worked for Patina Oil and Gas and its predecessor Snyder Oil from 1988 until 2005 in a series of operational and technical positions of increasing responsibility, ending his service at Patina as Vice President of Operations. The Board has concluded that in addition to his status of CEO of the Company, Mr. Brookman is qualified to serve as a Director due, among other things, to his many years of oil and gas industry executive management experience, his active involvement in industry groups and his knowledge of current developments and best practices in the industry. Mr. Brookman holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and a M.S. in Finance from the University of Colorado.
Mr. Lauck was appointed Executive Vice President Corporate Development and Strategy in January 2015. Mr. Lauck has overall responsibilities for PDC’s business development, acquisitions and divestitures, strategic planning, corporate reserves and midstream & marketing. Mr. Lauck joined PDC in August 2009 as Senior Vice President Business Development with the added responsibility of leading PDC’s strategic planning efforts. Previously, he served as Vice President – Acquisitions and Business Development for Quantum Resources Management LLC from 2006 to 2009. From 1988 until 2006, Mr. Lauck worked for Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, where he initially held production, reservoir and acquisition engineering positions before being promoted to various management level positions in the areas of acquisitions and business development, ending his service as General Manager, Corporate Development. From 1984 to 1988, Mr. Lauck worked as a production engineer for Tenneco Oil Company. Mr. Lauck graduated from the University of Missouri-Rolla in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering.
Mr. Meyers was appointed to his current position in January 2018. Prior to that, he served as Chief Accounting Officer beginning in April of 2009. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Meyers served as a Senior Manager with Schneider Downs Co. Inc., an accounting firm based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Mr. Meyers served in such capacity from April 2008 to March 2009. Prior thereto from November 2002 to March 2008 Mr. Meyers was employed by PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, the last two and one-half years serving as Senior Manager. Mr. Meyers holds a BS in Accounting from Grove City College, Pennsylvania.
Ms. Jacoby was appointed to her current position in February 2023. Prior to that, she served as Vice President of Corporate Administration beginning in May 2020 where she was responsible for all facets of the human resources function, corporate administration, and corporate facilities. Prior to joining the Company, Ms. Jacoby served as the Vice President of Human Resources at SRC Energy, Inc. Prior to her time at SRC, she held positions in Facilities, HR Management, and both Public and Investor Relations with Extraction Oil and Gas, and Kodiak Oil and Gas Corp; as well as Marketing at P2 Energy Solutions, Inc. She holds an M.S. in Global Energy Management from the University of Colorado and a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Wyoming.
Mr. Lillo was appointed as a member of the Senior Management Team for PDC Energy in September 2020. He was promoted to Senior Vice President, Operations PDC Energy in March 2019 after joining the Company as Vice President, Operations in September 2015. Mr. Lillo has over 32 years of experience in exploration, production, and operations engineering management. Prior to joining PDC, Mr. Lillo was with Bonanza Creek Energy (“Bonanza”) from 2013-2015 serving as Senior Vice President of Production & Operations, after being promoted from VP, Rocky Mountain Asset Management over the Rocky Mountain and Mid-Continent assets. From 2005-2013, Mr. Lillo held numerous positions with Noble Energy, Inc. including Development and Operations Manager, Manager of Major Projects and Infrastructure, and District Manager for the DJ Basin. Prior to that, he was with Patina Oil and Gas Corporation from 1998-2005, serving in positions of increasing responsibility, including Operations Manager and District Production Manager overseeing Wattenberg operations. Prior to 1998, Mr. Lillo held several operation and technical positions for various companies with operations in Kansas, North Dakota, and California. Mr. Lillo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
Ms. Martinet was appointed General Counsel, Senior Vice President and Corporate Secretary in January 2019. She is responsible for corporate and tactical legal initiatives, board governance, as well as related duties. Ms. Martinet joined PDC Energy in March 2011 as Vice President and Associate General Counsel where she supported the Company’s acquisitions and divestiture activities, all facets of the Company’s securities matters, corporate finance transactions and day to day oil and gas matters. Prior to joining PDC, Ms. Martinet worked as an associate for the Corporate Finance and Acquisitions group at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP in Denver, Colorado. In that position, Ms. Martinet garnered a wide range of experience representing public and private companies in mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings and corporate financing. Her practice also included counseling clients on securities disclosure and compliance issues as well as compensation and corporate governance matters in a variety of industries. Ms. Martinet holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and French and Francophone Studies from Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, California. In addition, Ms. Martinet received her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law, where she graduated Order of St. Ives for being in the top 10% of her class, and was a Senior Staff Editor of the LAW REVIEW.
